Our founding crop and specialty. Kukielka Produce is a specialist in North American cultivated ginseng — Panax quinquefolius — supplying bulk roots (3, 4, and 5-year-old varieties), ginseng fiber, powder, sliced and ginseng root for sale.
Ginseng is a human-shaped root long valued as one of the most popular healing herbs in both Eastern and Western traditions. The genus name Panax comes from the Latin for “cure-all,” a name given by botanist C.A. Meyer in 1842. Ginseng has been studied extensively since the 1940s, with thousands of published studies exploring its traditional use for energy, focus, and general wellness.
